Livingston Armytage - Photographer
Livingston at the opening of the International Labour Organization’s exhibition of his photographs of Phnom Penh garment factory workers.
By profession, Livingston is a lawyer and judicial reformer, giving advice to courts, governments and international development agencies around the world. He is the director of the Centre for Judicial Studies. When he is not working, Livingston is a photographer. His camera has accompanied him and his wife through the arid wadis of Palestine, the highlands of northern Vietnam, the serene gardens of Japan, the gently decaying ruins of Angkor, the chaotic markets of Pakistan, the steep tracks of Annapurna, to name a few of their destinations. Livingston’s photography often focuses on the people who live in these exotic places.
