Jewellery Boxes and Queensland Multicultural Awards 2008

Marianni New is a fine Woodcraft Artist. Marianni began making decorative wooden boxes and soon gained commissions for gifts and trophy designs in wood. These have included the making of 18 specially commissioned Queensland Multicultural Awards trophies for Queensland Government in 2008.

These awards now grace the mantelpieces of some renowned members of the community including the pop star Katie Noonan, the Olympic Gold Medal Polevaulter Tatiana Grigorieva, and the renowned hairdresser and businessman Stefan.

Marianni made a number of corporate gifts (business card holders) for the Queensland Multicultural Festival sponsors in 2008.

Marianni also makes custom designed decorative boxes for very personal wedding gifts.
