Susila Dharma Australia
Susila Dharma Australia is the charitable arm of Subud Australia. Its mission is the relief of human suffering and the promotion of just and sustainable development.
With a primary focus on improving access to education, our current projects are situated in Australia and Indonesia.
SDA is operated by volunteers and provides funding to its projects primarily through donations raised within Subud Australia.
In Australia: Refugee Scholarship Program
In 2020, Susila Dharma Australia is now in its third year of offering a Refugee Scholarship Program.
The program provides a scholarship for asylum seekers and refugees who are enrolled full time in higher level education, in order that they may be better supported in pursuing their studies.
The recipients have reported using the financial support for basic living supplies and equipment.
Susila Dharma Australia also collaborates with Dharma Care Inc., a registered charity in Brisbane, working on mutual aims.
