Membership Phone Application
Below are instructions on how to install the membership card app on your phone. Please note that the app may not work on some very old phones with old versions of software,
To install the app ...
1. On an iphone go to the apple store by clicking on the icon that looks like this
on an android phone go to the play store by clicking on the icon that looks like this
Please note that there may be some variations on how those icons look on different phones
2. Once inside the app store/android play store in the search bar type in Subud - a list of apps will be returned with the top one being Subud Membership Card, click on that and then click install. (Note that if you already had the old version of the membership card on your phone then you will click on update instead of install)
3.Once the app has downloaded click on open and that will take you to this screen
4. Enter your mobile phone number in the box where it says to and then click on Continue (or Sign in) Note that you can enter your phone number with the first 0 (zero) or without it, it doesn't matter.
If you enter an invalid phone number format a message will pop up saying"please enter a valid phone number".
Other than that you will after about 5-10 seconds be taken to this screen below
5. You will then receive a SMS text with a code in it, enter that code in the box then click on login, you will then be taken into the app and you will see a screen like the one below.
If you do not receive an SMS text then please check that you are not out of mobile range and that you have credit on your phone. Another possibility is that you have entered your phone number incorrectly, in which case click on LOGIN and it will close the app, reopen it and re-enter your phone number.
Note that even if your phone number is not in the Subud Australia database you will still receive a text if you have entered your phone number correctly and you have credit and mobile coverage.
6. The app is very simple to use, click on "click here for WSA news' to view the news feed and click logout to close the app. However, you do not need to logout you can also just leave the app open in the background if you wish.
7. If your phone number is not in the membership database, then after you enter the SMS code and click login you will see this screen below. If that happens please speak to the helpers in your local group so that they can update your details in the database as it is the local helpers that keep their group's details up to date.
