Susila Dharma Australia is committed to helping alleviate the barriers faced by refugees and asylum seekers in the pursuit of higher level education and career development. This scholarship provides financial assistance to a person enrolled in full-time study at a tertiary institution.

BENEFITS

$3000 stipend paid in two parts over the academic year. The scholarship is for 1 year only.
Successful applicants may elect whether to receive the $3000 as:

• two payments of $1500 (one in each semester);

OR

• one payment of $2000 (in Semester 1) and one payment of $1000 (in Semester 2).

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible, you must satisfy ALL of the following 3 criteria: 

• study and reside in Australia;
• be from a refugee or asylum seeker background; and

• be enrolled to study full-time at a tertiary institution for all of 2024 (university, TAFE, etc).

IMPORTANT DATES 

Applications extended to Wednesday 27th March 2024.

You will be advised of the outcome by Tuesday 30th April 2024.
